Description

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Transfer to Haridwar (220 km / 6–7 hrs)

Your spiritual journey begins as you arrive in Delhi. Meet our representative at Majnu Ka Tilla or Kashmere Gate and embark on a scenic drive to Haridwar, the gateway to the Char Dham pilgrimage. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, witness the soulful Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a mesmerizing ceremony that sets the tone for the divine days ahead.

Day 2: Haridwar – Rishikesh – Barkot (220 km / 7–8 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Barkot via Rishikesh. En route, complete your Yatra registration at Tapovan. Continue through picturesque roads to reach Barkot, a tranquil town nestled in the Himalayan foothills and the base for Yamunotri Yatra. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 3: Yamunotri Darshan (6 km trek each way)

Today is dedicated to the first Dham – Yamunotri, the seat of Goddess Yamuna. Drive to Janki Chatti and begin your 6 km trek (or opt for a pony/palanquin ride) to the revered temple. Take a holy dip in Surya Kund, visit Shakti Temple, and offer prayers at the Yamunotri Temple. After darshan, return to Barkot for a restful evening.

Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

Post breakfast, proceed to Uttarkashi, beautifully located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. En route, enjoy scenic views of the Garhwal Himalayas. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Spend your evening visiting the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Kuteti Devi Temple, or explore the lively Uttarkashi Market.

Day 5: Gangotri Darshan (100 km one way)

Today, embark on a soul-enriching drive to Gangotri, the origin point of the holy River Ganga. Take a dip in the icy waters of the Bhagirathi and visit the Gangotri Temple, built in the 18th century. Explore the Bhagirath Shila, where King Bhagirath is believed to have meditated. Return to Uttarkashi by evening.

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (210 km / 8–9 hrs)

Post breakfast, journey towards Guptkashi, a sacred town nestled beside the Mandakini River. En route, witness the stunning confluences of rivers and verdant valleys. After check-in, relax and explore the vibrant local bazaar or unwind amidst the tranquil ambiance.

Day 7: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (Drive + 16 km trek)

Begin early and drive to Sonprayag. From here, take a local shuttle to Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek to Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Trek 16 km through rugged Himalayan terrain, or choose pony/palanquin services (at own cost). After seeking blessings at the ancient stone temple, check into your accommodation for a spiritual night stay.

Day 8: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Guptkashi (Trek + Drive)

Wake up to a divine sunrise over Kedarnath. Begin your return trek to Gaurikund and transfer back to Sonprayag by local jeep. Continue your journey to Guptkashi, where you can relax and recover after the trek.

Day 9: Guptkashi – Pipalkoti (160 km / 6–7 hrs)

Post breakfast, drive towards Pipalkoti, a quaint town nestled amidst the Himalayas. Enjoy the serene landscapes, river crossings, and peaceful surroundings throughout your journey. After check-in, relax for the night to gear up for the final dham.

Day 10: Badrinath Darshan – Mana Village Excursion (90 km one way)

After breakfast, head to Badrinath, the final and most revered Dham of the Yatra. Take a purifying dip in Tapt Kund and visit the magnificent Badrinath Temple. Later, explore Mana Village, India’s last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. Discover Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and the mythological Bheem Pul. Return to Pipalkoti by evening.

Day 11: Pipalkoti – Rishikesh (230 km / 8 hrs)

Begin your descent toward Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World. En route, stop at Rudraprayag and Devprayag, sacred river confluences that enrich the spiritual landscape of Uttarakhand. Upon reaching Rishikesh, check in and later visit Triveni Ghat to witness the ethereal Ganga Aarti.
